MOBILE DESIGN
I have recently been working on a Mid-Core mobile game with a FTP Monitization model and both Arcade and Collecting gameplay mechanics. The game itself was also built in the Unity game engine for both Android and iOS. Since it was a small team, I had multiple roles on the project. Foremost I led the Level Design from concept/greybox through final gameplay. The Game levels were procedural, therefore I had to design and implement the systems to accommodate multiple playthroughs with increasing difficulty. Once this was determined, I had to roll out the layouts to over 30 levels with variable Easy, Medium and Hard assets.
I was also given the challenging task of designing, testing and balancing the increasing abilities of over 100 playable characters. On the system/collecting side, I worked with the programmers on the overall Economy system and the specific system ramp for the increasing character ranks and Abilities.
